Summer is winding down already, and the blog has been pretty neglected.  Turns out my hands have busy with babies and guitars.  I wouldn't want it any other way.  We loved the crowd at the Bear Lake County Fair.  I'll tell ya, there are some serious music lovers out there.  We hope to make it over the hill again.  Thanks Glen!  Tonight we're sticking a little closer to home and will be entertaining at the Alpine Fly In, it's gonna be a cold one so cuddle up everyone! 

Lincoln County Fair ~

Our Hometown fair was a huge success!  We had such a great time and people came out despite the rain and enjoyed acrobats, rope twirlers, clowns, dancers, and escape artists.  So happy to be a part of it all.

It's about time for the Lincoln County Fair.  We love our hometown fair and love the direction the Fair is going in the recent years.  Along with some other great local talent, The Linford Band is going to be entertaining under the Big Top Thursday-Saturday.  Click the link for all the details about the fair. . . . . www.lincolncountyfair.info  

We'll also be bringing along a couple of new additions to the fair this year.  The new CD "Still" is finished and will be hot off the press and ready to go, and the fruits of my labor will also be making an appearance.  Wish us luck and we'll see you there :-)

Thanks Sublette for breaking us in this summer!  We had a great time playing together for our first fair of the season.

9 Months in the Making

For the past nine months the Linford Band has been in creation mode.  Cal is nearly finished with our latest CD!

The basement studio has gotten a lot of use, and we're all relieved to nearly have this project to the press.

 



Sublette County Fair Shows

Our first fair of the year just so happens to be right around the corner and over the hill from us in Sublette County.  Cal and Teddy will be on the free stage along with other great local talent.  I love that Wyoming is so rich in natural resources :-)  We hope you'll take a drive where the sun shines hotter, the wind blows harder and just about every thing is just . . . better.  Both Cal and I will be in possession of the fruits of our labors the last 12 months.  One is for sale and one is very much not (although you may wish).  For the fair schedule please click on over to the Sublette County Fair website and under the schedule our show dates are available for viewing along with all the other great entertainment to keep you occupied on a beautiful summer day at the fair in Wyoming.

Summer Songs

This is a little video we actually took last summer of us working up one of Cal's new songs.  It's going to be on the new album we're working on right now expected to be out this summer.  I was glad we captured some of our process it'll be fun to compare the album version to this very raw version.

Summer's Comin'

I swear it's true, some day all this snow will turn to green grasses and flowers and The Linford Band will be pickin' and grinnin' again.  No gigs this spring due to some other exciting things in the works, but we're giving a little heads up as to some shows we're looking forward to come summer.  Concrete times and dates to come;
