MDCB October 28-30, 8:00

It's been a music filled summer and the fall has kept us plenty busy as well.  There are some shows coming up in the near future and we are happy to be adding a fantastic steel and banjo player when we play the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar October 28th, 29th and 30th.  Ted Wells and The Linford Band will be starting up with the new winter hours at 8:00. 

Million Dollar Cowboy Bar July 25th-27th

Thursday July 25th at the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, The Linford Band will be joined by Alexa Marie, don't miss this rare sighting of Cal's daughter singing with her Dad.  Break out your pretty boots and keep the party going through the 27th.

Colters May 25th, 7:30

The Preston Ranch Party and Million Dollar Cowboy Bar were great this past week. We loved having Ian fill in on the drums with us the last few months as Greg was recovering from an illness.  This Saturday we welcome Greg back for our Memorial Weekend at Colters in Afton. 

Colters April 26th & 27th

Our next show on the calendar is April 26th and 27th at Colters in Star Valley. 

Coming close on it's heels is some great traveling in May, a couple of private parties and another night at Colters May 25th.

The Linford Band is excited for our three night run at the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar.  It's one of our favorite venues and we can't wait to see all our great friends and dancers out for a good time.

2018 in Review

I'd be remiss to not express our gratitude for the year of great friends and music that 2018 brought our way.  We appreciate all those who invited us to play and every supporter of our music. We were able to play in our own backyard, spent quite a few nights in Jackson and Cal shared the stage with Sam Hunt and the band opened for Joe Nichols. I spent most of 2018 singing and traveling to New York, Florida, New Orleans, San Antonio Texas and of course our Christmas home in Sun Valley, Idaho.  I can't wait to see where the music takes us in 2019.

Happy New Year

We hope you've had a happy and safe Holiday Season.  Sun Valley was magical and Midland last night at the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar was epic.  We will be updating our schedule so be sure to check back.  2019 is going to be a great one.

Stars in the Valley Christmas Concert

Cal and Teddy are happy to be ringing in the Holiday Season at home this year at the Stars in the Valley Christmas.

"This Christmas-themed variety show will feature a wide range of musical selections--from operatic duets and string quartets, to lively dances and holiday harmonies. Silver Dollar Showroom

The Silver Dollar Showroom at the Historic Wort Hotel in Jackson didn't disappoint last weekend.  It was great to revisit one of our favorite places in Jackson.  This weekend we are headed back to the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar.  Friday and Saturday night the music and dancing starts at 9:00. 

Finishing up September

We are nearly through September already.  We love autumn time and the gorgeous hiking around our home state.  Wyoming is truly spectacular.  While we're not hiking, canning fruit and filling our freezers for winter, we are of course singing.  Cal just played a private gig up in Jackson and coming up this week we will spend Sept. 25th & 26th at the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar.  We hope you'll put down your hunting rifles, set aside your boxes of fruit and trade your hiking gear for dancing boots and meet us there.  Music starts at 9:00.  If you found this blog you can get monthly updates here until we get our new website up and running.  We will soon be re-launching our www.thelinfordband.com and can also be found  here, https://www.facebook.com/Thelinfordband/ and here, https://www.instagram.com/linfordband/

Summer was a success and we are on to the fall.  Coming up we have two shows at the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar September 4th & 5th.  Music starts at 9:00pm

Coming Up . . . .

Summer has just about gotten away from us and we've had a ball singing around Wyoming.  There are still some great shows coming up, most of them private, but one that we hope EVERYONE will make it to.  Joe Nichols will be playing the Lincoln County Fair in Afton, Wyoming, August 4th and we are fortunate enough to be opening for him.  He puts on a great show and we can't wait to see him in person at our beautiful fair. Tickets can be purchased online at http://lincolncountyfair.info/ or at the venue that night.  If you are planning on attending more than one event at the Fair you can get a great deal on a P.O.P (pay one price) ticket.  $60 gets you into ALL the events, including the Joe Nichols concert.  Can't wait to see you all in our neck of the woods.

The Linford Band will be playing the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar Tuesday, July 3rd.  Music starts at 9:00 and there's always plenty of dancing to be had.  Come on out and enjoy the authentic Wyoming atmosphere.
