May 17, 2008 . . .Put That In Your Book

On May 17, 2008 we are having a fundraiser at the Lincoln County Fair Grounds in Afton, Wyoming for Tristan Mack. He is a great kid with a really big wish to finally get a prosthetic ear. We thought it would be a great idea to get folks together for a night of music and meat. Dana Cold Storage is providing the meat, Century 21 is sponsoring the live entertainment which includes, but is not limited to Cal and Teddy. Dave Parsons, Pace Vandeburg and Loren Norman will be donating their time and talent to round out the music, so everyone can cut a rug and loosen their purse strings and pull out their wallets for a good cause. So join us please, pass the word, bring your family and neighbors and friends and we'll raise enough money to fulfill one of Tristan's dreams.

HOMETOWN HASTINGS

Today my mom went up town in Afton and got the ball rolling for us to sell our CD in our local Hastings store. We are excited about it, I never would have thought I'd be selling a CD in my hometown. I feel so exposed somehow:) Like people now know what I've been up to lately. I haven't been featured in the Grover news lately, so I guess this is the next best thing. I love living here. Where else can your mom go and help arrange your CD rack in one of the most happenin' retail stores in town. Our music career in Star Valley is certainly unique.

SO LET IT BE FINISHED

We have officially finished our first sibling CD. "Cowboys are Dreamers", our labor of love, is complete and we are sharing it with everyone we know, whether they need it or not:) My next project is posting it on our blog, but don't hold your breath!

Summer 2008

It has begun. We have our first official fair booking. The Lincoln County Fair has asked us to come back to sing this summer. We will perform August 7-9, but have no for sure times, we'll update as it gets closer. There is nothing like singing for your home town. This year was awesome, we were feeling the love:)

I suppose that if you are on this blog it is because you know one of the three LLC's. We are a music group that originated from the same source~Lark and Scott Linford. Jake is the eldest bass playing, law student, Cal is the typical middle child running his own business and writing songs and I am the one with the most time. My name is Teddy, and yes that is my real name, and yes I am a girl. Woman. I am a wife and mother and sometimes work in the butcher shop my brother Cal runs in the beautiful place we call home. Star Valley. We three were blessed with a gift. That gift is a mother who knows it's never too late for her children to fulfill their destiny and a father who believes money spent to fund his Chidren's dreams is money well spent. This blog is about Music, Love and Family. We hope you enjoy it.
